Rhön Klinikum

The centrepiece of the new Rhön-Klinikum Campus building is the Centre for Outpatient Medicine with its modern glass domes, which acts as a hub for patient navigation in the center of the campus. sis has planned an intuitively understandable visitor guidance system that takes into account the architectural, structural and organizational conditions and sets visual accents in terms of design. At the central intersections, the existing concrete columns were used as the basis for the guidance system and clad with flat, homogeneously illuminated LED panels. Thanks to their flat appearance and shallow depth, they blend in with the architecture. These information boards were supplemented with illuminated steles, wall signposts, ceiling signs, flag signs and mobile information steles. Outside, overview maps and steles welcome visitors and give them an initial overview of the various areas and destinations. The steles and maps are illuminated and are particularly effective at night.
