sis | sign information systems gmbh is a specialist planning office for signage and architectural signage. Since 1997, we have been operating in the field of planning and execution of wayfinding systems and orientation systems for both public and private projects.
Orientation, visual communication, and information within spaces are our core competencies.

At sis, we rely on a qualified team of 10 employees from the fields of architecture, graphic design, communication design, and advertising technology.
The range of projects handled by sis spans from large-scale undertakings such as Hamburg Airport, to numerous hospital projects, companies like Beiersdorf and Unilever, and extends to concept and design developments for wayfinding and signage systems for ECE shopping centers, business parks, hotels, and museums, as well as city-wide signage planning.
In the hospital sector, we have been specializing for many years in the design of both analog and digital wayfinding systems, managing large clinics across Europe.

What you should bring:
• A completed degree in an engineering discipline (Bachelor’s, Master’s) or in a field such as Architecture, Interior Design, or Cartography.
• Professional experience in signage planning, wayfinding, or a related field such as traffic planning or cartography.
• Excellent spatial imagination for designing and mapping complex wayfinding and orientation systems.
• Expertise in graphic design, typography, and visual communication.
• Preferably experience in hospital planning or hospital operations.
• Preferably experience in digital wayfinding systems and digital cartography or navigation.
What you will do:
• You will be responsible for the planning and coordination of signage and wayfinding projects with a focus on hospital planning.
• Participation in site visits for inventory assessments, analysis of the wayfinding network, and processes.
• Mapping and planning for the positioning of signage and information elements.
• Visualizations and technical drawings of the product family (Signfamily).
• Quantity and budget estimation, preparation of specifications and tendering.
