At the end of 2013, Saarbrücken Airport commissioned SIS with the design, detailed planning, and creation of the specifications for a new passenger wayfinding and orientation system for both the exterior and interior areas.

This included the graphic and typographic concept in alignment with our corporate identity, the planning of all signage locations, the technical description and system selection, as well as coordination with our architect, management, and marketing department.

The creation of the specifications and support during the procurement process ultimately led to the execution and implementation of the new, modern signage and wayfinding system in the spring of 2014.

In summary, we can say that we are very satisfied with the outcome of the planning and the new passenger wayfinding system, and we have received very positive feedback from our customers.

The system reflects the high quality and identity of the airport and has significantly enhanced the overall appearance.

The collaboration with SIS and its staff was exemplary and a great pleasure for us. The tight schedule was adhered to with certainty, and the creation of the production data was handled smoothly and professionally.
